Joseph aged 10 from Billingham enjoyed a fun-filled trip to Alton Towers in June. Joined by his mum and older brother, Joseph was one of 21 children who had their wishes granted during Make-A-Wish Foundation's 21st anniversary week.

Joseph, who is living with cancer, spent five-days sampling the nail-biting rollercoaster rides of Alton Towers as well as a special trip to Alton Towers' Cariba Creek Water Park.

"You only have to see the happiness and smiles from our wish children to know how wonderful and lasting these memories are." said Neil Jones, Chief Executive of Make-A-Wish.

Joseph's wish was kindly sponsored by guests who attended the 2006 Make-A-Wish Christmas Ball.
