Since 1986, Make-A-Wish UK has granted over 6,800 magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.
Nothing is more important or deserving than granting a seriously ill child their wish. After days, weeks or even years of treatment and hospitalisation, Make-A-Wish endeavours to create as many happy memories as it can. For some families it can be the last they have with their child.
Make-A-Wish needs your help to make these wishes come true. With the average cost of a wish being £4,000 even the smallest donation is gratefully received and acknowledged.
Whether a wish is to be a princess or a policeman for a day, own the latest computer equipment, meet a favourite celebrity or just enjoy some special time away from home with their family, a wish come true brings so much to a child's life and provides memories for the family that last forever.
One of our key fundraising events is the annual Make-A-Wish Winter Ball, held every year in the stunning surroundings of The Dorchester, Park Lane. Over the last 18 years the ball has raised over £5 million, an outstanding achievement only made possible by the very generous support we receive from people like you.
